Are Three Dogs Too Many?

Meet Tripper
Well we did it! Today after a long weekend of moving my sister Rachel into college (Go Coastal!) we picked up our foster puppy from Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation (seeing-eye dogs) and brought the little fur ball home.

Introducing him to our Border Collie (Rocky) and Chocolate Lab (Casey) was the easy part...having them accept Tripper and help shape him into a well adjusted dog is another thing.

...so here's to raising a puppy for a good cause...and to the sleepless nights ahead.

TRAINING CHALLENGE: Figuring out when he has to "go". Girls are easy...they squat. Tripper sort of leans forward....sort of. Oh well thank goodness (and the School) for laminate floors!

I mean...how cute is he?
FAMILY FEELINGS: Rocky won't look at Tripper unless I'm luring her with a treat. Casey was more concerned about getting the marrow bone out of his cage and devouring it (about 5 minutes).

PUPPY PROGRESS: He seems to what to be near me all the time. Either he has already established a bond or I've successfully provided him with enough treats to make a positive association. I guess I'll take either one.

Day=1
